• Hadoop administrator with 4 years of experience in Java.
• At least 2+ years of experience as Hadoop Administrator on Horton Works Distribution.
• Experience in handling various Hadoop Components like Yarn, HDFS, Hive , Hbase ,Pig , Kafka etc
• Experience in Implementation and Administration of HortonWorks Hadoop Cluster using Ambari.
• Experience in Working with Development team to setup new Hadoop users i.e. setting up Linux users, setting up Kerberos principals and testing Hortonworks HDFS, Hive, and Spark access for the new users.
• Knowledge in Troubleshooting Hadoop Jobs.
• Experience in Linux Administration.
• Experience in Writing Shell Scripts.
• Working Knowledge on Apache Ranger and setting up Ranger Policy's
• Working Knowledge in Kerberos and Active Directory
• Knowledge of Tools like Control-M workload automation Tool and Remedy Ticketing Tool

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
