Preferred:

• Experience with SQL Server features like store indexes/partitioning, in live projects

• Good experience on SSRS

• Data warehousing knowledge and background

• Asp.net or MVC experience

• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts

• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

Qualifications

Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 7 years of working experience with SQL Server and MSBI suite, especially SSIS.

• At least 5 years of experience working with SQL.

• Strong Knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, DW architecture, ETL Frameworks, Design and Development using MSBI Suite

• At least 4 years of hands on experience in Development & Build activities in MSBI - MUST.

• Experience in performance tuning for MSBI jobs especially SSIS – MUST.

• Must have experience in analyzing existing ETL and BI processes, suggesting and implementing performance improvement measures.

• Experience in conducting code reviews and providing guidance to development team

• Very good understanding of SQL Server is MUST and good knowledge on other major RDBM systems, i.e., DB2, Oracle.
