Job Summary:

The Service Porter plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership’s service department by maintaining the flow of vehicles, assisting guests, and supporting the Service Advisors. This position requires a dependable, customer-focused individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Service Porter will fill in for the Service Express Advisor as needed and assist the Main Shop Service Advisors with scheduling appointments.

Compensation: 

• $15.00 Hourly

Vehicle & Customer Assistance:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer waiting areas.
• Ensure loaner vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use.
• Assist with vehicle check-ins, including verifying VINs, mileage, and noting any damage.
• Driving vehicles through the car wash when their service is completed.

Service Advisor Support:

• Fill in as the Service Express Advisor when needed, performing duties such as:
  • Writing customer requests.
  • Explaining recommended maintenance services.
  • Processing repair orders and payments.
  • Providing status updates to customers.
• Assist Main Shop Service Advisors by:
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling service appointments.
  • Confirming upcoming service appointments with customers.
  • Gathering vehicle history and relevant information for service write-ups.

General Duties:

• Keep the service drive and shop area clear and organized.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and shuttle services as needed.
• Perform light facility maintenance tasks, such as taking out trash or restocking supplies.
• Support the dealership’s customer satisfaction goals by providing excellent service.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time position including Saturdays.

• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Automotive experience is a plus but not required.
