Job Description

Purpose

The Lease Return Processor is responsible for inspecting and processing all lease returns brought and procured to the dealership. This role requires daily interaction with customers. This job also requires the assistance the sales department and managers with additional items tasked. This high-visibility role is critical to the dealership’s overall success and presents a great opportunity and career path within Sonic Automotive.

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Inspect and process all lease returns

·         Ability to deliver a VIP experience to the dealership’s loyalty customers to ensure repeat business

·         Ability to multi-task and work within multiple systems (CRM, OEM Financial platform, retention specific sites, etc)

·         Tracks all guest contact and communicates outcomes with the management team

·         Schedule appointments for pre-inspections and new vehicle test drives

Salary: $22 / hour + two $500 bonuses that can be earned, to total $1,000 in bonus potential. Bonuses are based on performance

(The Lease Return Processor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00.)

 

Qualifications

·         1-year minimum experience in any role within automotive sales department

·         In conjunction with working at your desk, this position will require heavy physical activity in the form of walking and moving vehicles

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong Microsoft Office computer skills

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

·         Strong organizational and time management skills

·         Ability to read and comprehend rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

·         All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA

·         All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner

·         All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license

Additional Information

Job requirements for hourly wage:

·         Employee must maintain 85% or greater DSI Next inspections of Grounded vehicles or subject to corrective action.

·         Employee must process, ground, and finalize all lease returns with 48 hours of vehicle acceptance.

·         Employee must perform inspections within BMW FS variance guidelines as to not cause chargebacks to the dealership for mis-inspections or subject to corrective action.

·         Employee must assist the used car manager and the sales department as a whole with any tasks given.

 

DSI Next Inspections: $500 monthly bonus to employee if adjusted DSI Next inspection vs Grounded is equal to or greater than 87%

 

Chargeback Variance to dealer from BMW FS: $500 monthly bonus to employee if there are no chargebacks for DSI inspections for the month.
