Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Automation Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. You will play a critical role in driving our network automation journey, leveraging your expertise in Python, Ansible, and DevOps practices. You will design and implement solutions that improve network reliability, scalability, and efficiency, working across teams and independently on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement network automation solutions using Python and Ansible.
Manage and maintain Linux-based systems that support automation platforms.
Apply DevOps principles, including CI/CD workflows, to streamline automation delivery.
Lead and oversee software development processes, including testing, code review, and release management.
Work with routing and switching technologies, with a focus on Cisco and Aruba environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, security, software) to align automation with business and infrastructure needs.
Take ownership of development tasks and initiatives, even in situations with limited direction or ambiguous requirements.
Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in network automation engineering.
Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and network orchestration.
Solid knowledge of Linux system administration.
Proven experience in DevOps practices, especially CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices (testing, version control, documentation).
Strong knowledge of network engineering concepts, particularly in routing, switching, and experience with Cisco and Aruba technologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
