We’re looking for a skilled Performance Engineer to take the lead in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our global platform. You’ll be instrumental in driving performance strategy across both frontend and backend systems, with a strong focus on automation, analysis, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests using tools like k6, JMeter, and mPulse.

• Monitor and analyze system performance using observability tools like Splunk.

• Collaborate with developers, SREs, QA, and product teams to identify bottlenecks and performance risks.

• Lead performance audits across services in modern cloud-native and microservice architectures.

• Recommend and implement improvements to performance engineering processes.

• Provide performance tuning and capacity planning insights.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering and testing.

• Strong knowledge of modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices.

• Proficiency with performance tools: k6, JMeter, mPulse, and Splunk.

• Strong understanding of backend and frontend architectures.

• Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic platforms is a big plus.

• Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Based in (or able to work from) Stockholm in a hybrid setup.

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, JavaScript, etc.)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance gates

• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
