Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a large-scale implementation project within the Point-of-Sale (POS) domain. This role will serve as the primary interface between the company and the vendor, ensuring all project phases—from discovery to rollout—are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business expectations.
You will be responsible for managing internal teams, aligning stakeholders, and securing dependencies across key functions such as Payment, Store Infrastructure, Sales Data, and Loyalty. The ideal candidate is a structured, people-focused leader with a hands-on approach and extensive experience in vendor coordination.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Act as Project Lead and single point of contact for vendor and external project managers
Build and maintain a collaborative project culture with the vendor ("One Team" mindset)
Guard and drive business goals and expectations as defined in contracts, discovery, and ongoing project changes
Own and manage the overall project plan, timeline, and deliverables across all phases
Lead the internal core project team, ensuring focus and alignment on project goals
Coordinate and manage dependencies and stakeholders across internal units (Payments, Infrastructure, Data, etc.)
Drive internal project communication, ensuring clarity and alignment at all levels
Set up and maintain project tooling and documentation
Qualifications
Senior/Expert-level project management experience in large-scale IT or retail projects
Proven experience in vendor management and multi-party project environments
Deep understanding of project governance, contract alignment, and delivery management
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across technical and business functions
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience managing dependencies across multiple systems and domains (e.g., POS, Payments, Infrastructure)
Familiarity with agile and traditional project methodologies
Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus

Working hours: 75%
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Form of employment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 months of probationary employment
