Job Description

Support direct-material procurement activities through supplier analysis, sourcing support, commercial data management, and cross-functional coordination. The intern will gain exposure to procurement processes that enable supply continuity, cost management, and supplier performance. Position Summary

Solidigm is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Intern to support strategic sourcing and supply-chain operations for integrated circuits (ICs) used in data-center SSD products. This six-month internship offers hands-on experience in supplier management, sourcing, planning, market research, data analytics, and responsible use of approved AI tools.

What You Will Learn

  • Supply Chain & Procurement Fundamentals: Understand suppliers, contracts, capacity, pricing, inventory, and demand planning.
  • Data, Digital Tools & AI: Use Excel, PowerPoint, approved AI tools, and business applications to analyze data, summarize insights, and support decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate with sourcing, engineering, operations, finance, legal, and supplier teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support IC sourcing activities, including supply assurance, pricing, capacity, allocation, inventory, RFQ, proposal, award, and commercial-term tracking.
  • Prepare supplier and stakeholder communications, meeting materials, follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze supplier, market, and supply-chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Research semiconductor market trends, supplier developments, pricing signals, and supply-chain risks.
  • Support supplier performance tracking, business continuity, risk mitigation activities, forecast alignment, demand supply coordination for ODM turnkey supply models.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to understand SSD build requirements and supply priorities.
  • Contribute to cost savings, process improvement, and value-engineering analysis through clear data summaries.
  • Use approved AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, validation, and productivity improvement while protecting confidential information.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, business, operations, engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework, projects, internships, or work experience in supply chain, procurement, business/data analysis, operations, or vendor management preferred.
  • Interest in semiconductors, technology supply chains, and data-center products.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and detail-management skills.
  • Comfort using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, approved AI tools, and digital productivity applications.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with willingness to learn from feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to planning, procurement, supplier management, or sourcing through coursework, projects, internships, or employment.
  • Experience using AI tools and Excel for analysis, pivot tables, charts, dashboards, research summaries, or productivity improvement.
  • Familiarity with VMI, ODM manufacturing, semiconductor supply chains is helpful but not required.
  • Experience in global, multicultural, or cross-functional team environments.

Working Conditions

This primarily office-based internship begins January 18, 2027 and offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with guidance from experienced professionals and ownership of meaningful assignments.
