Job Description

The Test Development Team lead is an essential member of the System Test Engineering team and the Product Development Team working closely with PDT, PMT, SI, PV, QRE and ConVal.

The candidate will run a Test Development Team (TDT) for SSD products during the product development phase (NPI) and volume manufacturing (HVM). At NPI, the focus is to develop and manage a Manufacturing Test Plan and deploy it to the Factory bearing in mind rapid product and schedule changes. At HVM, the focus is to manage rapid products customizations as new customers are frequently added post-launch. In addition, a TDT manages the following: introduction of firmware releases as part of manufacturing test suite, management of yield and test time targets, test coverage and gap closure based on customer DPM feedback, working with content developers on test tape delivery schedules, improvement of yields and test time, providing feedback to product stakeholders such as firmware team and media integrators on current issues impacting manufacturing. The TDT also works closely with both the Product Development teams and Product Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS Engineering degree in CPE, EEE, EE, or CS.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience with Program or Project Management
  • Experience with Manufacturing test and operations
  • Experience with NAND, SSD or related technology

Additional Information

The compensation range for this role is $102,120 - $169,020. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
