Job Description

Solidigm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a newly-created position and a unique opportunity to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of finance, technical accounting, audits, financial statement analysis and business analysis. The candidate will independently and proactively analyze financial information and develop solutions to moderate-complex problems. Additionally, the accountant is to support the business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization; ensure with IFRS and US GAAP corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with external auditors to complete PCAOB audits, by coordinating audit timelines, deliverable, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Address any audit -related queries promptly and accurately.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial information and validations to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements.
  • Provide thorough financial analysis, proactiveness and automation solutions and improvements for current processes.
  • Work cross-functionally to understand and account for complicated transactions.
  • Continuously monitor best practices and develop process improvements for transactions and processes.
  • Assist with accounting special projects.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience or 2+ years of Public Accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Xlookups, Vlookups, Conditional formulas)
  • Experience in using SAP S/4HANA and tools like Blackline, etc. will be a plus
  • Experience with international subsidiaries and foreign currency transactions
  • Strong at execution, follow-up and attention to detail
  • Commitment to process improvement
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to keep deadlines at a fast pace without losing accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $93,240 to $140,240. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
