About us

Solflare is one of the fastest-growing crypto wallets in the world. With around 4 million monthly active users and over $20 billion in digital assets secured through our platform, we’re building a powerful gateway to Web3. Founded in 2021, Solflare now has a team of nearly 150 people, with offices in Zagreb, Belgrade, and Novi Sad, plus remote teams across the globe. Our vision is simple but bold: a world where everyone uses a Web3 wallet and has full control over their assets - achieving true financial independence.

Our culture

At Solflare, we’re on a mission to empower people to truly own and thrive - starting with our own team. We take on bold challenges with curiosity, grit, and a deep sense of accountability. Here, progress means learning fast, solving smart, and showing up for each other without ego. You’ll join a team where we question the status quo, celebrate shared wins, and never settle for “just good enough.” If you’re excited by growth - yours, ours, and society’s - you’ll feel right at home.

Job Description

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help evolve how Solflare shows up across campaigns, social media, presentations, events, merchandise, and other physical and digital experiences.

This is a senior, hands on individual contributor role for someone who can turn a brief into a strong creative concept and scalable visual system and execute it to a high standard. Experience with motion is valuable, but deep motion specialization is not required.

You’ll own briefs from concept through delivery and execute most of the work yourself. You’ll also brief and direct freelancers or specialist partners when a project requires additional capacity or expertise.

You’ll report to the Head of Design and work within the Brand & Creative team, partnering closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Design, and Operations. You’ll present your work, actively seek feedback, and contribute a clear point of view to the work of the wider team.

This is not a people management role, a full time art direction position, or a rebrand. Solflare already has a strong identity. Your job will be to extend it intelligently, creating new expressions and systems without losing what makes the brand recognizable. Over time, the role can grow toward greater art direction responsibility while remaining close to the craft.

Core responsibilities:

Campaigns and brand expression

  • Turn product launches, company initiatives, and marketing briefs into memorable visual concepts and campaign systems.
  • Design creative for web, social media, paid campaigns, app-store assets, presentations, and other marketing channels.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Marketing to continuously raise the standard of Solflare’s campaigns and social presence.
  • Extend the Solflare identity when new formats or challenges require solutions beyond the existing guidelines.

Digital and motion

  • Translate brand concepts into effective digital and social content.
  • Use motion where it strengthens an idea, either by creating straightforward animations yourself or collaborating with motion specialists.
  • Brief and direct external motion designers when a project requires specialist expertise.
  • Ensure motion work feels consistent with Solflare’s broader brand identity.

Systems and creative quality

  • Build reusable templates, libraries, components, and guidelines that help the team produce high quality work efficiently.
  • Review creative across channels and identify opportunities for stronger consistency, clearer storytelling, and more effective production workflows.
  • Brief and collaborate with freelancers, illustrators, motion designers, and production partners when specialist support is needed.

Events and physical experiences

  • Develop creative concepts for conferences, sponsorships, events, and merchandise that help Solflare stand out online and in person.
  • Design high impact company presentations, internal communications, recruitment campaigns, and employer-brand materials.
  • Prepare production ready artwork, review proofs, and work with vendors to ensure high-quality physical execution.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in brand, visual, or graphic design, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates both depth and range.
  • Exceptional craft in typography, composition, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience working within an established identity system and meaningfully extending it not only applying existing templates.
  • Experience applying brand systems across several formats, such as campaigns, digital content, presentations, print, merchandise, or events. We don’t expect you to be a specialist in every area.
  • The ability to take ownership from brief through delivery, challenge unclear or weak briefs constructively, and make thoughtful creative decisions.
  • A collaborative, low ego approach and the ability to give and receive direct feedback.
  • Thoughtful use of generative AI and modern creative tools, with good judgment about where they increase speed and where hands-on craft matters more.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Your portfolio

A portfolio is required. Applications without one cannot be considered.

Please send links rather than attachments and include three to five projects that demonstrate:

  • Exceptional brand and visual-design craft.
  • Experience developing a concept into a coherent campaign or visual system.
  • An identity system you meaningfully extended beyond its original guidelines.
  • Range across relevant digital and physical formats.
  • Your specific role, the constraints you worked within, and the reasoning behind your key decisions.

Motion work is welcome. A small number of well explained projects is more valuable than a large collection of disconnected visuals.

Nice to have

  • Experience creating short form motion for brand or campaign work.
  • Experience briefing or directing motion designers.
  • Experience with After Effects, Rive, Lottie, or similar tools.
  • Experience with 3D tools.
  • Illustration skills that broaden your creative range.
  • Experience working with crypto, fintech, or highly technical products.
  • An interest in Web3, digital ownership, or emerging technologies.
