Job Description
What You'll Actually Do
Client Project Management (70%)
Test applications built with React, Node.js, Python, .NET
Design and execute test plans and test cases
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Develop and maintain automated test suites using modern testing frameworks
Use AI tools for test case generation and bug report enhancement (Claude, testing assistants)
Participate in sprint planning and daily standups
Deliver quality reports and bug findings weekly, not just "testing complete" updates
Handle test case reviews, bug verification, and regression testing
Internal Collaboration (20%)
For Seniors, Mentor junior QA engineers on client projects
Contribute to our internal testing tools and quality automation
Participate in quality discussions about client solutions
Help improve our testing processes and standards (we believe in open collaboration, not top-down)
Client Communication (10%)
Join client meetings (typically 1-2 per week)
Provide quality insights on project planning and release readiness
Communicate testing blockers and quality risks proactively
Document testing decisions, coverage, and quality metrics
Qualifications
Possible Technical Skills
Core Project Management
Manual Testing: Functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing
Test Management: Test planning, case design, execution tracking, defect management
Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar web testing frameworks
API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools for backend testing
Database Testing: SQL queries for data validation and integrity testing
Version Control: Git/GitHub workflows for test automation code
Nice to Have
Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar load testing tools
Mobile Testing: Appium, device testing, mobile-specific test strategies
CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, test automation in deployment pipelines
Security Testing: Basic security testing knowledge and tools
Test Framework Development: Custom test framework creation and maintenance
Cloud Testing: AWS/Azure testing environments and tools

English fluency: You'll speak directly with English speaking clients about quality issues
