- Updates & Releases: Coordinate, test, and deploy Microsoft continuous delivery release updates and quality updates.
- Monitoring: Monitor batch jobs, Data Management Framework (DMF) exports/imports, and core system workflows to ensure data integrity.
Finance & Supply Chain Support (Core Focus)
- Functional Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving day-to-day functional and technical support tickets across core Finance and SCM modules.
- Finance Support: Troubleshoot ledger configurations, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable workflows, and period-end closing issues.
- SCM Support: Maintain configurations and troubleshoot issues within Inventory Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Master Planning, and Warehouse/Logistics workflows.
- Integrations: Monitor and support integrations between D365, the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI), and third-party or ISV applications.
Process Optimization & Enablement
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with finance and supply chain stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements.
- Documentation: Build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), system configuration documentation, and technical change logs.
- Training: Deliver end-user onboarding, training guides, and refresher sessions for new features or process changes.
Light Technical Customization (Nice-to-Have — approx. 10%, Not Required)
- Configuration & Personalization: Perform light, in-app form and field adjustments using standard D365 personalization tools.
- Low-Code Automation: Build simple Power Automate flows or Power Apps to support Finance/SCM process improvements.
- Basic Data Queries: Write basic SQL or OData queries to help diagnose data issues.
- Reporting Tweaks: Assist with minor formatting adjustments to Electronic Reporting (ER) layouts or Power BI operational reports.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&O), with demonstrated depth in Finance and/or SCM modules.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Security Frameowork/role-based security and segregation of duties (SoD) configuration, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Excel Add-in tools.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of core financial concepts and supply chain/logistics workflows (e.g., procurement, inventory valuation, MRP).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate root causes between standard system behavior, configuration, and data errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) or Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330).
- Power Platform Experience: Hands-on use of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to extend ERP functionality.
- Light Customization Familiarity: Basic exposure to D365 personalization features or SQL/OData queries — a plus, not a requirement, given the core focus of this role is Finance and SCM administration and support.
- Advanced Module Exposure: Experience supporting advanced warehouse management (WMS) or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Additional Information
This role is primarily functional and administrative. A light technical/configuration component (approximately 10% of the role) is a valuable plus but is not required — candidates with strong Finance and SCM administration backgrounds are encouraged to apply even without hands-on customization experience.
Note: this component (Light Technical Customization) is intended to expand the candidate pool, not narrow it. Candidates without this experience remain fully qualified provided they meet the Finance and SCM requirements below.
