Project – the aim you’ll have
Client is an independent investment management firm based in Edinburgh.
The company specializes in long-term, growth-oriented investing, managing assets for institutions, financial intermediaries, and individual clients worldwide.
It is known for its active investment approach and focus on innovative, high-growth companies across global markets.

Position – how you’ll contribute

You will be involved in whole development life cycle experience, analysis, database design and development.

Expectations – the experience you need

• Advanced Oracle PL/SQL (packages/procedures/functions/triggers)
• Relational data modelling & schema design (including optimisation)
• Oracle (including OCI)
• SQL or T-SQL
• ETL logic within RDBMS environments

Additional skills – the edge you have

• Oracle APEX development (UI and workflows)
• Experience of Regulatory Reporting (MiFID, Solvency II, EMIR)
• Excellent working practices regarding processes and source control (TFVC, Git or similar)
• Knowledge of Release Management
