Job Description
We are seeking a Tech Lead (C#/.NET) to guide a high-performing engineering team supporting PowerPlan’s NXT platform. In this role, you will combine strong hands-on development skills with leadership responsibilities, serving as the primary technical liaison between the development team and PowerPlan’s engineering and product stakeholders.
You will help shape technical direction, ensure development best practices, provide architectural guidance, and support a team working across C#/.NET services, SQL Server + Oracle integrations, GraphQL APIs, and a metadata-driven Angular UI layer.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading a distributed engineering team building features for PowerPlan’s NXT platform
Providing technical direction, code reviews, and hands-on development in C#/.NET
Collaborating with architects on cloud-native design principles and integration patterns
Working with SQL Server and Oracle/PLSQL data flows to support complex business logic
Partnering with product owners to refine requirements and plan sprint work
Ensuring quality, maintainability, and delivery velocity through engineering best practices
Acting as the primary communication bridge between PowerPlan and the delivery team
This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys leading others while staying close to the code and contributing directly to product development.
Qualifications
6+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET development
Strong experience with SQL Server; familiarity with Oracle/PLSQL strongly preferred
Knowledge of cloud-native patterns and modern architectural practices (Azure or AWS experience a plus)
Experience with GraphQL and/or metadata-driven UI frameworks is preferred
Proven ability to lead engineering teams in an agile environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with product, architecture, and engineering leadership
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges
Proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions
Additional Information
Must have the ability to travel to the USA (Atlanta, GA) 1-2 times per year.
