Availability to work a flexible schedule, including consistent evening shifts, is required to oversee our executive dining operations.

Salary Range: $80,000–$90,000 CAD

Job Description

How You'll Make an Impact: 

  • Responsible for leading a team of employees and successfully coordinating and directing on the floor food service activities
  • Direct daily food service operations including menu evaluation and planning, purchasing, inventory, receiving, food preparation and storage
  • Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship including high levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention
  • Develop a business plan for the client that establishes a rapport, promotes partnership and fulfills the clients’ needs and expectations
  • Accountable for the execution of product and service quality by maintaining highest level of delivery
  • Ensure the achievement of financial goals particularly around labor and F&B costs; and strategically develop efficiencies in the operation
  • Develop new and emerging business solutions for sustained growth and effective day-to-day operations
  • Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives
  • Establish a safe work environment for employees by performing safety audits and inspections, conducting safety-related training, and maintaining on-going communication with employees
  • Communicate with vendors, ensure ordering is completed accurately and in a timely manner 
  • Scheduling and payroll 

Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or related field 
  • 5+ years of Management experience in Food and Beverage 
  • 1+ year of Fine Dining experience 
  • Expertise in wine, including selection and service
  • Extensive Food and Beverage Operations knowledge 
  • Experience managing a budget and unit financials (Food & Labour Cost) is required 
  • Ability to build, lead, and develop a strong team
  • Customer Focus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Competent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong problem solving skills
