Company Description
Within Western Australia, Sodexo is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-process infrastructure to clients within the mining and oil & gas sector. Sodexo plays a critical role in ensuring the resource sector can operate by providing quality catering, hospitality, and facilities maintenance services.
We are recruiting for a Project Management Officer to join our ever-growing Projects team based out of our head office in Balcatta.
Providing essential support to our Project Leads, Project Supervisors and other associated departments, this role is integral to the continued growth within our projects division.
Key Duties:
- Review, adapt, and implement the Sodexo Project Management Framework and associated processes to facilitate the successful delivery of projects by the Sodexo Projects team
- Develop and deliver training material or workshops on the use of the Project Management Framework and associated processes and systems
- Develop and implement standardised Project Management reporting templates and processes, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required
- Implement processes to facilitate planning, estimating, and proactive management of project and program level costs and schedules
- Contribute to an overall improvement in safety performance and showcase a zero-accident culture and mindset
- Assist in day-to-day operations and administrative tasks
- Preparation of reports
- Document Management
- Provide support across project systems

Qualifications:
- Degree qualified – Project Management or Business Administration – preferred but not essential
- Expert in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Project Management Systems e.g. Microsoft Projects, Dynamics 365 or similar – preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and successfully refining and implementing workflows, processes, and systems
- Ability to influence users at all levels to adapt proposed changes in systems and processes
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and delivery of training in systems and processes
- Strong work ethics and an understanding of corporate requirements and processes
- Strong professional business acumen
- High level of presentation and communication skills with the ability to professionally negotiate and achieve positive outcomes
