Job Description

Sodexo are currently recruiting for an experienced Regional Travel and Accommodation Team Leader to join the team based in our head office in Balcatta on a 12 Month Full Time Contract.

This position is responsible for managing travel and accommodation operations for the IFMS portfolio to mobilise Sodexo staff, third-party contractors and agency/relief coverage to Site, effectively leading and managing a team of Travel and Accommodation Coordinators. Supporting the Travel and Accommodation Manager with continuous improvement and project tasks

The Regional Travel and Accommodation Team Leader is responsible for the following:

  • Manage team resourcing and performance to maintain effective service delivery.
  • Manage rostered travel escalations, complaints, and priorities, identifying and mitigating risk.
  • Second in Charge (2IC) in the absence of the Travel and Accommodation Manager.
  • Support and direct the team, motivating and coaching employees to achieve individual and team performance targets, in line with set quality standards.
  • Update scripting and processes ensuring work instructions are accurate and current.
  • Train and induct new employees and conduct refresher training with established employees.

  • Facilitate weekly team meetings, monthly 1-1 performance-based meetings and conduct quarterly development reviews with direct reports.
  • Ensure training and development plans are maintained. • Actively demonstrate Sodexo standards and values and lead by example to drive positive, effective service delivery and customer service.

    Qualifications

    To be successful, you’ll need:  

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing people and small teams.
    • Previous experience supporting site-based environment or mobilisation of resource to site.
    • Travel systems and process knowledge and experience desirable.
    • Demonstrated experience leading teams within a travel management environment.
    • Experience in coaching and mentoring staff to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and quality standards.
