Job Description
Sodexo are seeking Expressions Of Interest for a Senior Contracts, for a Specialist to support Sodexo’s mission to improve the quality of life of their employees and all those they serve, and to contribute to the economic, social and environmental developments of the communities, regions and countries in which they serve. To support the Contracts and Commercial in delivering a best practice commercial service offering to the Sodexo Executive and Operational teams.
Job Scope:
- Assist in the development and growth of Sodexo as an organisation by promoting ethical business practices and delivering services in accordance with Sodexo’s values and standards.
- Identify and implement change in areas of Contract or Commercial underperformance; bringing about improvement in financial performance.
- Diverse Portfolio Accommodation Villages, Town Assets (Aquatic Centre, Waste Disposal, Parks, etc), Town Accommodation (Residential and Commercial), Aerodromes, Fuel Stations, Shopping Centres. Multiple Service Stream.
- Complex legislative framework – scope of Services brings Sodexo in contact with many pieces of legislation.
- Agency Compliance – Sodexo operates in many regions, as does its Clients, so compliance with company policy, procedure, legislation and local laws is essential in ensuring Sodexo’s ability to operate and bid for work.

Requirements of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Drafting high quality formal correspondence to subcontractors, suppliers and the Client.
- Preparation, evaluation and submission of Head Contract Variation Claims to Client.
- Coordinating the contract administration staff to ensure contract administration duties are fulfilled on time and to the highest standard.
- Providing oversight, governance and guidance to stream / operations contract administration staff: during the review and assessment of monthly subcontractor progress claims; and to ensure the timely and accurate production of subcontract forecasts.
- Coordinating the administration / document control staff to ensure the establishing and maintaining all contractual registers including claims, variation and correspondence registers.
- Progressing minor disputes (Head Contract and Subcontract) in a manner that reaches a mutually beneficial outcome for all stakeholders;
- The preparation of monthly and annual reporting.
- Providing oversight, governance and guidance to stream / operations contract administration staff, Sodexo Legal and Sodexo’s National Supply Chain division in the: preparation of RFT tender documentation; and the technical evaluation of tenders.
- Ensure a healthy working relationship is maintained with the Client. Ensure Head Contract compliance. Maximise return on investment in all transactions.
- Ensure that daily duties and undertakings support the Sodexo Group’s “Focus on Growth”.

Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
- Be tertiary qualified in Law, Commerce or have a qualification / background in Quantity Surveying.
- experience of at least 5 years within the resources sector.
- a high focus on safety.
- A collaborative and team centric attitude; a ‘hands on’ style and ability to Excel in a fast paced and reactive environment.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
- Motivated, passionate and team orientated individual who consistently strives for excellence.
