What do Service Attendants do? 
Service attendants are hospitality-minded specialists that help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home: 

Working across a range of functions to support operational needs. 

Housekeeping/Cleaning accommodation rooms aka: “dongas”.

Assisting in the Kitchen and Dining Room service areas. 

Mine Site Cleaning of Offices, Crib rooms and Ablution Blocks. 

Providing customer service in the Tavern or Retail shop. 

Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and grounds. 

What does it take to work DIDO? 
The DIDO lifestyle can be very rewarding, but it isn’t for everyone. 

Consider what to expect and what is required of you when assessing your options: 

• Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts, day or night shifts as required. 
• Enduring a remote environment in extreme heat or weather conditions. 
• Multi-tasking and assisting in other areas/departments with a positive teamwork approach. 
• Solid understanding of the requirements of safe work and safety protocols. 
• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical.
• Australian working rights and drivers license is essential.
