Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those who have just entered the health and safety profession wishing to kickstart their career.

Reporting to the HSE East Lead & Program Manager and working within a dedicated HSE team, you will contribute to the development and deployment of HSE improvement initiatives and programs, as well as provides HSE operational support on site as needed, which will involve occasional interstate travel.   Salary $85,000 + Super.  

Position Overview: 

  • Provide operational HSE support as needed, including on-the-ground HSE support on site, mobilisations, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and inspections;
  • Schedule activities by actively engaging with operations and support functions in line with program requirements and HSE Strategy; 
  • Provide HSE program support for operations, support functions and our clients; 
  • Train, coach and advise internal stakeholders on the implemented safety improvement programs; 
  • Analyse data to identify trends and area for improvement;
  • Support with the review and update of the HSE management system and related documentation to ensure compliance to HSE legislation;
  • Support with the development of training packages
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field preferred. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply). Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
