Job Description

Your work will involve commercial office cleaning including but not limited to; detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchens and toilets. 

Along with day to day cleaning you will be required at times to greet and assist customers (visitors, clients, suppliers and employees) in face to face interactions, serving as the first point of contact and ensure a positive customer experience with every visitor interaction. The role supports management of Sodexo’s Perth Regional Support Centre through the direction of the Facilities Manager.

You will conduct all duties using appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them within allocated timeframes. You will be required to respond in a timely manner to any adhoc cleaning requests that require urgent attention. Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas/duties to complete on your allocated shift.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you must have experience in facility or office cleaning. You have knowledge or training of chemical handling procedures and appropriate cleaning techniques. You will take pride in your work and have a commitment to working to a high level of safety. You will have basic computer skills and be willing to learn administrative and retail tasks as required. 

You have bags of stamina and are fit and healthy, as you will spend the majority of your time on your feet. Your ability to work effectively in a team is very important. This is a hands on role and having a positive can-do attitude is what we are looking for. This position will suit a self-motivated individual who has a flexible mindset and a great team spirit - providing service with a smile!
