Reporting to the HSE Director, you will drive our zero harm ambition across all Sodexo operations in Australia by building trusted partnerships with our operational leadership team. 

Leading a team of HSE professionals to provide expert safety advice, solutions and strategic direction which will enhance our strong safety performance and culture.

Who are we looking for? 
We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environment who takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard, with excellent time management and teamwork skills and have the ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. 

You will be able to influence and lead a team of HSE professionals and drive strategies and initiatives to aid in the prevention of incidents.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and build effective relationships at all levels
• Possess problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to read, analyze and report information effectively
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• A mindset focused on proactive safety management, with an emphasis on HSE assurance and lead indicator performance and relish leveraging innovation and industry best practice, to improve HSE performance.  
• Proven ability to work with multiple electronic platforms including Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI and Project.
