We are currently looking for an experienced Indigenous Supplier Procurement Manager to join our team based in our Perth Support Centre in Balcatta in a Permanent full-time position.

Accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:

  • The Indigenous Supplier Procurement Manager (ISPM) is the procurement lead for all Indigenous supplier engagement across Supply Management. This role will be leading the Indigenous Procurement category, with ultimate responsibility for contract award and management of performance.
  • The ISPM will be primarily focused upon Facilities Mgt procurement; however, this will extend to Consumables, Services and Food & Beverage suppliers. During the source to contract phase, there will be a requirement to engage with related procurement managers in providing alternative supply options through Indigenous suppliers.
  • Additionally, this role will interface heavily with the Head of Indigenous Affairs (HIA) to provide Indigenous suppliers for consideration to become Sodexo Approved Indigenous Suppliers (SAIS), following the HIA conducting the Indigenous Supplier Evaluation.  The HIA and the ISPM will work collectively upon expanding the SAIS number in alignment with Indigenous Procurement Direction.
  • This role will undertake reporting regarding purchasing spend with Indigenous suppliers in alignment with reporting timelines (in alignment with client requirements).
  • This role will be client facing in some instances for major contracts where Indigenous Spend KPI’s are present
  • Be an advocate for increasing Indigenous Procurement through Sodexo Approved Indigenous Suppliers (SAIS)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, major in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement, or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar procurement / supply chain role
  • Previous experience in leading a wide range of procurement categories such as Food & beverage, Consumables and Service
