Job Description

Can you deliver a seamless on-site Corporate catering service? If so, we want you to join our team!  

We’re looking for a Catering Manager to manage our on-site catering service delivery at one of our new Corporate Sydney Client offices. This is a customer-focused role managing day-to-day catering and functions services, managing staff rosters, and overseeing effective stock control, all the while ensuring a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness and, of course, great customer and an exemplary client service.

This role is permanent full-time and based in Sydney.

Who are we looking for?  

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments; there’s never a dull moment at Sodexo.   

You will have prior experience with large-scale and high-volume catering and functions management, encompassing food service and the management of catering teams; you must have excellent communication skills, experience with food costing and food cost variables (wastage, rotation etc.). A solid understanding of food safety standards are essential.  You will be personable and have well-developed leadership and motivational skills, ensuring that you drive consistency and innovation and deliver required service outcomes. 

You will bring prior supervisory skills and hospitality management experience from a Corporate setting.  The scope of services will cover Boardroom Catering, Reception & Concierge.  We seek a Catering Manager who can create a professional, warm and inviting environment that promotes a good working partnership with our client and an engaged and productive on-site team.
