About the role

As a casual Chef, you will work across multiple prestigious Education sites to provide wholesome, fresh and varied food options. The locations will vary across two separate catchment areas.  Area 1 covering the CBD, South Yarra, Toorak and Brighton (all close to public transport) and Area 2 covering Keysborough, Berwick, Cranbourne and Clyde North (mileage reimbursement will be offered).

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will work in a hands on capacity to cook for the canteen and for functions.  You will be an experienced Chef/Cook with bulk cooking experience and strong awareness of food safety standards and all health and safety regulations. You will have excellent communication skills to allow you to engage with key stakeholders, staff and students.

In this role you can expect to work anywhere between 15-25 hours per week, mostly during school term only.

About You

You will have prior catering experience in fast paced environments, you will have a detailed knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (food safety knowledge is a must) and demonstrate a strong and engaging personality.

You will be passionate about cooking, have excellent time management and organisational skills to allow you to multi task and you will be dedicated to delivering high service level results to our client day after day.  It will be a requirement to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check.
