About the role
As a casual Catering Manager, you will work across multiple Education and Corporate sites to oversee the day to day running of the catering operations. The locations will vary between two location in Camperdown, Paramatta and Sydney CBD.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work in a hands on capacity to lead on site teams in meeting our contract requirements. Specific duties will include menu planning, ordering supplies, supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards and all health and safety regulations are met, monitoring the quality of the service and product produced including hands on preparation work and cooking of the menu items. You will have excellent communication skills to allow you to engage with key stakeholders and manage the client relationship at site level.
In this role you can expect to work anywhere between 25-40 hours per week.
About You
You will have prior catering experience in fast paced environments preferably within the Education and or Corporate catering environment, you will have a detailed knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (food safety knowledge is a must) and demonstrate a strong and engaging leadership style.
You will be passionate about what you do and enjoy the challenges of running a busy site, driving growth and building customer relationships. Excellent time management and organisational skills are a must to keep all of these tasks under control along with efficiency across the Microsoft suite of products and email management skills.
Most of all you will be passionate about food and delivering high service level results to our client day after day. It will be a requirement to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check.
