This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Controller to support the Projects team of our IFMS contract. Working Monday to Friday in our Perth Support Centre based in Balcatta with free parking this is your chance to join an Organisation with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

About the job

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will be supporting our Projects team. As the Senior Project Controller you will play a vital role in managing the ever-growing pipeline of works for IFMS Projects. You will have the opportunity to improve the systems, reports and financial controls. Your role will require you to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. A critical part of the role is finance focused with End of Month P&L Analysis and working with business deadlines. You will provide support in setting up project PO’s, monitor and control project costs for the full life cycle of the project programme of works and reporting to the client.

About you

You will have experience in a similar role for 6 to 8 years and will be able to demonstrate the proven ability to support a Project team with financial analysis. You will have excellent time management, the ability to manage volumes of data and analyze cost and collaborate effectively with your team. 

A background in working with accounting and cost control would be highly regarded. You will be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and work independently to a high standard. Software experience including Advanced Excel, Microsoft Project and willingness to learn new tools and technology. Qualifications

Engineering, CPA/CA qualified or equivalent or demonstrated experience

Good commercial skills

Previous Experience in Project Controls or Finance/Accounting Background.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills including - analyzing data and information and reporting results, advanced Excel skills.

An understanding of Key Performance Indicators.
