About the job
Sodexo are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced cleaners to join our team working at our client's site located at 25 Victoria St, Fitzroy. The role is casual with shifts from 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday. 

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchen, toilets and all of campus areas. 
• Use appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them with in allocate timeframes.
• Respond in a timely manner to any ad-hoc cleaning request that require urgent attention.
• Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas / duties to complete on your allocated shift.

As a cleaner you are a representative of Sodexo and will have interaction with our client, therefore, having great customer service skills and looking presentable at all times is essential.
 

About you

• Experience in facility or office cleaning.
• Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and appropriate cleaning techniques.
• Take pride in your work and have commitment to working to a high level of safety.
• Have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills.
• Be well presented at all times.

You have bags of stamina and are fit and healthy, as you will spend the majority of your time on your feet. Your ability to work effectively in a team is very important. This is a hands on role and having a positive can-do attitude is what we are looking for. This position will suit a self-motivated individual who has a flexible mindset and a great team spirit - providing service with a smile!
