Relocation to Queensland, Australia or FIFO from New Zealand

Due to growth within the Energy & Resources Sector we are seeking expression of interests from qualified  Trades (Electricians, Refrigeration Mechanics or Plumbers) & Dual Trade (Electrician /Refrigeration Mechanic) licensed professionals with experience in building and preventative maintenance.

Our Trade and Dual Trades licensed professionals work across our sites in regional and remote Australia within the Energy & Resources sector. They are responsible for preventative maintenance, attending service call-outs, performing pre-start checks, completing maintenance log schedules, update the maintenance registry, prioritize urgent/reactive repairs for customer and client satisfaction, as well as install and inspect/troubleshoot equipment within their scope.

If successful, you may choose to Fly-In-Fly-Out on a 2:1 roster, from New Zealand to our Greater Australia remote sites or Relocate to Queensland Australia for further opportunities.

You must be a New Zealand Citizen, Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or have full working rights in Australia to apply.

Who we are looking for?

If you are a licensed dual trade professional with previous experience in building and services maintenance we want to hear from you!

To be successful, you will need:

• Electrical Trade qualified and licensed - holding a current practicing license for a ‘registered electrician’ (Electrician or Dual Trade required)
• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade qualified with 4 + years’ experience and ability to obtain an Arctick – Refrigerant Handling License (Refrigeration Mechanic or Dual Trade Required)
• Certifying Class registered and licensed Plumber/Gasfitter (Plumber/Gasfitter required)
• Current LVR/CPR or ability to obtain (Electrician or Dual Trade required)
• Unrestricted manual Driver License
• Demonstrated experience in servicing, preventative maintenance, installations and general fault finding
• Able to work in a timely and efficient manner working to complete break downs, preventative maintenance and inspections
• Have a collaborative approach and experience working with other trades to achieve the best outcome for clients/customer
• Have a strong safety culture with the ability to work to strict on-site and government safety standards
• Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and team
• Previous remote site experience within the Energy & Resources Sector is highly regarded but not essential

Relocation to Queensland Australia 

• Full time Roster: 14 days on, 7 days off 11 hour shifts
• First flight from New Zealand to site provided by Sodexo
• Up to $2,000 of relocation assistance
• Accommodation and meals provided while on site
• Drive-in, Drive-out or Fly-in, Fly-out from site pending on location

Fly-in, Fly-out from New Zealand

• Full time Roster: 14 days on, 7 days off 10 hour shifts
• First flight from New Zealand to site provided by Sodexo
• FIFO flights from our FIFO hubs of Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Cairns or Darwin to site and return
• $7,000 travel allowance per annum
• Accommodation and meals provided while on site
