This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team working full time on our client's site in the Surat Basin.

About the job

Reporting to the Village Manager, the Refrigeration Mechanic is expected to work as part of team to perform preventative and reactive maintenance and ensure all equipment is operational to contribute to the smooth overall running of the village. Position on offer is as a FIFO 14:7 roster 10 hours per day Ex Brisbane or surrounds 

Your main responsibilities will be to completing assigned preventative maintenance & inspections of all equipment associated with refrigeration located at the Village Camps.

You will be attending to, and repairing, all and any plant failures in a timely manner or as directed by the Building Maintenance Supervisor and maintain minimum agreed parts stock levels and to store inventory in a safe and clean environment.

About you
You will have experience completing facilities and building maintenance and inspections to an agreed schedule and assisting with the provision of refrigeration and associated services and duties to contribute to the smooth overall running of the site. You'll be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure prompt and professional service in dealing with all stakeholders

You will display a strong team focus with excellent customer service, ensure presentation and service is carried out to the client standards, have excellent time management skills, adhere to all workplace safety requirements and carry out other reasonable duties as designated by your supervisor.

You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise work orders, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without constant supervision and a positive attitude.

Qualifications required
Current Refrigeration Handling Licence essential, LV CPR First Aid qualification; and Current Manual Driver's licence.

You must be willing to undergo pre-employment medical, physical and drug & alcohol testing and provide a national criminal history check (dated in the last 6 months).
