Job Description

Sodexo are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to support our Energy & Resources portfolio. This will be a local hire based at Karratha, working a Monday-Friday roster - this is a fixed-term position of 3 months duration.  This is NOT a FIFO role, we seek local applicants.

About the job

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with site-based personnel, administer inductions, risk assessments and manage company and client-driven HSE activities, programs, drills and meetings. As the HSE Advisor you will undertake comprehensive incident investigations, comply with HACCP plans and train staff according to respective requirements. You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. Bring your passion for safety to our team!

As food safety will be an important component of this role we are seeking a safety professional with specific exposure to Food Safety and HACCP guidelines in additional to having broad exposure working with Facilities Maintenance and Trades.

About you

You will have experience in a similar role, preferably working within the mining, civil or facilities maintenance industries in a senior capacity. A degree or diploma in Health and Safety or similar field and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are essential qualifications for this role. A current full WA Manual Driver’s licence is mandatory in order to operate our site vehicles.
