Job Description

Sodexo are seeking a Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Lead to support our Integrated Facilities Management Services portfolio located in the Perth support centre. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will guide asset reliability activities, ensure planning and scheduling of work schedules are delivered and completed to standard and ensure timely delivery of Key Performance Indicators.

As the Planning & Scheduling Lead your duties will include:

  • Monitoring and controlling the use of work management processes within the team
  • Coach the Planning team to develop plans that adhere to work management processes and integrate multiple data sources and criteria
  • Assess the quality of planning outputs and act to address gaps
  • Review and challenge resources estimates looking for opportunities to optimise plans
  • Monitor the need for outsourcing maintenance work and ensuring capability of external service providers meets business requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive work plans, prioritizes work (based on risk & asset criticality), and delivers plans to the field execution teams on a weekly basis.

Operational delivery will be your primary focus, whilst ensuring consistency and client relationships are developed and maintained.  As part of your role, you will identify improvement opportunities stemming from work management monitoring and ensure you align the teams’ priorities to business and client requirements.

Please note travel to the Pilbara will also be required as business needs arise.

About you

  • You have a sound understanding of Asset Life cycle management (ISO550K), work management practices, master data management and continuous improvement actions and delivery
  • Experienced Maintenance Planner or, qualifications in a similar field demonstrated through at least 5 years’ experience and training to an equivalent level.
  • Trade or tertiary education in a technical field (such as electrical, mechanical, process engineering, etc) preferred
