About the Job

You will be working for Sodexo at St Pauls College near Albury, NSW and as the only Chef on site you will be guided by the Unit Manager in the smooth running of the operations.  With a focus on high quality food preparation across boarding, canteen and the school kiosk this is a broad role that will provide you with diversity and the ability to use all of your creative skills. Specific preparation will focus on cooking a range of boarding house meals, daily food offerings in the onsite canteen (sandwiches, salads etc) and snack options.  We seek great variety requiring a talented Chef. This role is Part Time working 34 to 38 hours per week with flexible working hours and days. As this is an education site, the job is for school term with some work in school holidays, depending on the client's requirements.The site is a boarding college, usually catering for students from Sunday through to Friday (7am to 7pm).

About You

You are a qualified Chef (Certificate III Commercial Cookery) who is full of energy and passionate about food, you will have the ability to display innovation, creativity and of course have great ability to cook.  Your studies will have provided you a high understanding of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.  You will ideally have experience in a fast paced environment with bulk cooking experience while working as part of a team.

The successful applicant must be willing to obtain a Working with Children check, in addition to completing the on boarding process for Sodexo which includes a medical, police clearance and on line learning.
