About the job

Sodexo are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced cleaners to join our team working on the Karratha Gas Plant located on the Burrup Peninsula.  This is 9:5 roster, working days in a row and 5 days off.

Please note that this IS NOT A FIFO ROLE, to be considered you will need to be residing in the Karratha region.

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will have excellent customer service skills and ideally mine site experience. Your job will involve detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchen and toilets.You will conduct all duties using appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them with in allocate time frames. You will be required to respond in a timely manner to any ad hoc cleaning request that require urgent attention. Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas / duties to complete on your allocated shift.

About you
You must have experience in facility or office cleaning. You have knowledge or training of chemical handling procedures and appropriate cleaning techniques. You will take pride in your work and have commitment to working to a high level of safety.

It is a requirement of this role to possess a current manual licence coupled with a positive can-do attitude. You will have a readiness to commit to working various shifts working on weekdays or if required on the weekends. It is essential that you are confident and flexible to complete tasks as required . Previous work experience in mine sites or resorts is highly regarded. You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic, as well as an exposure to and understanding of chemicals safety.
