About the role:

Sodexo are seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Building Maintenance team on a permanent, full time basis, at Olympic Dam. Reporting to the Village Manager, your key responsibility will be to oversee the end to end project management of simple to complex projects for our client as well as co-coordinating preventative and breakdown maintenance on village assets at both Olympic Dam and Roxby Downs. Duties include completion of detailed scoping documents, quoting, supervising of trades, scheduling, report preparation and ensuring work programs are on time and budget. Position on offer is as a FIFO or DIDO 9:5 roster (flights from Adelaide). Your crew will be a small but motivated team including refrigeration mechanics, plumbers, electricians and carpenters.

About you

You will have experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate the proven ability to support a technical project team. The nature of this role requires you to have ample experience managing teams of Trade personnel within a large corporate organisation coupled with a proven ability to deliver consistent service and meet contractual targets according to budget constraints and the scope of work.

You will have an appropriate building and / or trade qualification coupled with demonstrated supervisor experience in the building/facilities maintenance industry. You will have, comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements, regulations and standards, a proven record in financial and budget management and broad people management skills including performance management. Intermediate to advanced Excel and computer literacy are essential for this role.
