Help create a home away from home

Sodexo is seeking a Maintenance Utility to join our remote site facility operation at one our clients site in remote Western Australia.

About the Role:

This role is integral to the effective day to day operations of site and is responsible for utility and maintenance duties within our accommodation and site facilities.

This is a permanent fulltime opportunity working 2:1 Roster (FIFO from PERTH ONLY).

Some of your duties will include;

·         Weekly truck unloads

·         Operating the rubbish Truck

·         Waste Water Treatment Plant duties

·         Rubbish collection and recycling

·         Gardening

·         General handyman duties such as replacing shower heads, changing light globes, broken fly screen doors and key cutting

·         Some cleaning duties may be required

About You:

To be successful in this role you must have previous general hand experience preferably within a facility management environment. You must hold a current C Class HR Driver licence as well as a valid Forklift ticket. You will be possess a sound understanding of working to high safety standards ensuring workplace safety is not compromised.  You are someone that pays close attention to detail and can manage your time effectively working independently or part of a team.

• National Police Clearance within last 12 months required
• Medical and LABDAS within last 30 days
• Thursday PM flights in/out of Meekatharra
• Work part days on fly in and out day
• 12hr shift/11hrs paid
• Shift times are always subject to change depending on requirements, generally 5am to 5pm
