We currently have an exciting, long-term job opportunity available for an experienced, enthusiastic and safety conscious carpenter to join our team. You must have a manual driver’s licence and a trade certificate. This is a full-time position FIFO from Perth.

About the job
Your main responsibilities will be to take care of facilities located at the mine site, village and local townships as required. You responsibilities will include:

• completing a variety of carpentry jobs on a regular basis, amidst a team of qualified trades people; on site, reactive maintenance
• maintaining HSE awareness at all times and following safety guidelines
• ensuring work is carried out to safety and compliance standards

Experience in all aspects of general carpentry, including planning and coordination of your own jobs will be advantageous. Liaison with key stakeholders and experience with domestic and commercial carpentry would be ideal.

About You
You’ll have exceptional communication skills and be well presented at all times. Your customer service is exceptional and your attitude is always “can do”. You are punctual, dependable and have excellent organisational skills. You’re able to prioritise and exercise discretion whilst still adhering to our safety policies and established policies and procedures. Your attention to details is one of your strongest attributes and you take pride in producing work at an exceptionally high level under minimal supervision. Ideally, you’ll also have FIFO or remote working experience.
