About the job
Sodexo has casual opportunities for residents and travellers in Aurukun, Far North Queensland.

This is a casual live local role meaning candidates must live or be relocating to Aurukun, FNQ.

Reporting to the Lodge Manager, you will be required to work across various areas including but not limited to; grounds maintenance, housekeeping, dining room attendant, kitchenhand and laundry.

About you
It is a requirement that you will be able to get and from work and you need to consider yourself an all-rounder with experience working in mine sites, hotels or remote lodging/motels is preferable.

In addition, you must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic, as well as an exposure to and understanding of chemicals safety. You will have a readiness to commit to working various shifts and a positive can-do attitude and excellent customer services skills.

You must be confident on passing our drug screen as we have a zero tolerance policy to drugs and alcohol.
