Sodexo are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Internet of Things (IoT) team on an initial 6-12 month contract (with potential for permanency) based in our Perth Support Centre in Balcatta. The successful candidate will coordinate and support the delivery of a number of internal programs on the Internet of Things project, this includes prototypes and piloting projects being launched, including: Smart Room, Smart Kitchen, remote water management, and drone roof inspections.

About the job

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the IoT IFMS project lead to evaluate and propose solutions, develop project plans, report progress, identify risks and propose solutions to measure and track against KPIs. Other key deliverables include:

  • Coordination support: liaise with all parties involved in dedicated projects (internal IT & operations, marketing & communications, external partners); support on-site visits and preparation with on-site teams
  • Reporting progress and governance support: track and report on the progress of different projects; set-up governance meetings, prepare committees; assess risk and issues; propose improvement and resolution actions
  • Benefits and ROI measurement: ensure existence of proper outcome measurement tools and frameworks; setup KPI tracking tools; calculate ROI and build a business case per project
  • Service Brief production: document Business Issue and proposed solutioning; coordinate with service operations teams for completion of Service Brief documents and approval for new service development

About you

You are passionate about innovation and love playing with new tech toys! You like to test and learn and troubleshoot ideas. You will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Internet Connectivity or a related field and at least 12 months professional experience. Additional studies in Internet of Things and project management are also highly regarded.

You bring an outcomes-focussed attitude and an ability to influence and communicate effective plans and build relationships among cross-functioning teams. You focus on continuous improvement, you're not afraid to learn from failures to drive innovation. Your are proactive in an autonomous environment with previous success managing multiple priorities

You are able to travel on a regular basis, often at short notice to our site operations in regional Western Australia and our regional hub in Singapore.
