This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join the Sodexo team servicing our portfolio of sites. This role will play an integral part to keeping the village grounds and local property landscapes maintained. Travel to Sites will be required.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join the Sodexo team servicing the Rio Tinto portfolio of sites.

The role of the Planner/ Scheduler is to sustain Asset whole of life condition while improving work force productivity and efficiency. This is achieved by anticipating component replacement and maintenance while eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the efficient delivery of maintenance activities through the provision of safe, cost effective and sustainable planned and predictive maintenance scheduling applied to a diverse range of infrastructure assets. The role drives consistent, repeatable quality outcomes through the effective management of the business’s computerised maintenance management systems to maximise Tradespeople’s Productivity, efficiency and financial outcomes.

Some of your other duties will include developing, planning and scheduling work as required by the Maintenance plan and statement of works. Along with planning and scheduling the maintenance works for the camp and local residential properties your remit will include conducting cost benefit analysis to determine and measure our maintenance efficiency. Plan and prioritise schedule of works utilising labour resources efficiently as well as conducting analysis of usage rates of labour workforce plans and continuously seek new and innovative ways of delivering maintenance services for the business

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have a min 3 – 5 years’ experience in Planning and Scheduling and a clear understanding of the IPSECA Work Management process. Have the ability to perform well under pressure, ability to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail and to plan and organise multiple sites and sub-contractors. If you have worked on IFS ERP or similar system previously that would be highly advantageous.
