A key role within our Industrial Relations & Employee Relations team based in Balcatta at our Perth Support Centre, this is a full-time position with Employee Relations functional responsibilities for WA, SA & NT.  The role will require occasional travel.

Reporting to the Industrial Relations Director you will responsible for delivering innovative, practical and commercial Employee Relations advice and services to all levels of management across our business. You will implement systems of work and tactical projects aimed at maximising workplace efficiencies, management flexibilities and enhance our competitiveness in current and future commercial contracts.

This role will be responsible for advocating in conciliations listed by the Fair Work Commission but is not required to advance industrial law or employment law matters in tribunals or court hearings.

About You

You will demonstrate proven success in a senior advisory or consultancy environment and bring a commercial mindset and broad knowledge of Employee Relations matter. You will enable the business and not be a barrier or blocker to operations.

Your people management skills and exceptional ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business is critical to your success in this role. You must be able to demonstrate success in a matrix-style organisation and will be a self-motivator with experience leading successful teams.

You will preferable be tertiary qualified in Industrial Relations, Employment Law or Law.
