 We are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic and a first of it’s kind Rio Tinto Project.

About the job

We are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join our Rio Tinto Portfolio who will serve as the liaison between internal operations and business end-users to provide analysis and reporting to support business decisions. You will also be the main point of contact for all elements related to revenue for internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing monthly invoicing and ensure 100% compliance to IFMS Standards. You will also conduct operational financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance within the IFMS portfolio.

 Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Reporting to the Finance & Performance Manager you will collaborate with Finance Office to prepare the monthly invoicing process and the revenue recognition, Analyse revenue & costs by including price & volume impacts and make recommendations based on analysis, design Monthly Financial Report Highlighting and summarizing Areas Impacting Performance, prepare periodic reporting & commentary on financials with a focus on revenue analysis, provide divisions with additional value-add analysis and reports, use quantitative techniques to analyse data and make decisions and recommendations as well as prepare year end budgets and forecasts.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, able to communicate effectively at all levels including executives and operational personnel, have discretion, diplomacy and ability to maintain confidentiality, be CPA or CA qualified and show a demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving.
