About the job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Bus Trainer / Assessor who will play a vital role in providing guidance and information to ensure Sodexo employs the very best in qualified bus drivers’. The successful candidate will be operating out of our Perth offices as well as at our different sites throughout Western Australia.  The successful candidate will report directly to Head of Transport – Sodexo Australia. 

Duties will be but not limited to :

·         Development and implementation of site specific training plans

·         Bus Driver inductions

·         Bus Driver Pre-employment Assessments

·         Bus Driver Verification of competency

·         Bus Driver training and development

·         Defensive driving training

·         Frequent onsite travel will be required

·         Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify training requirements

About You

·         Heavy Vehicle Certificate IV in Training & Assessing

·         Ability to create and implement training programmes

·         Bus / Coach driving experience or competency

·         Bus Driver Training qualifications

·         Experience in working on remote sites

·         A current and unrestricted WA Bus Driver’s Licence (min HR-F)

·         High level of communications skills both verbal and written

·         Intermediate computer literacy
