About the Job

Reporting to the payroll manager and working as part of a small and supportive team, this role will see you responsible for processing the weekly payroll for 1200 employees using Sage Micropay and Riteq. You will ensure ongoing Masterfile maintenance, calculate back pays, bonus payments, redundancies and super adjustments. This role will also be responsible for reading, interpreting and applying conditions of various workplace agreements/awards to ensure employees pay rates, penalties, overtime and leave accruals are calculated correctly. You will interpret and provide all payroll reports including costing and costs analysis reports, you will also work closely with a range of internal stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and responding to payroll queries in a timely manner.

This is a contract role (6 months) working Monday to Friday – free onsite, secure parking.

About you

You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working within a medium to large complex payroll and have a good knowledge of Sage Micropay software (Preferable, but not essential). You have a proven track record of Award/EA interpretation along with resilience, flexibility and thrive in a fast-paced working environment where you can showcase your abilities to multi-task under pressure.

You will have intermediate Word & Excel skills and previous experience working with a time and attendance software (Riteq experience would be advantageous but not essential).
