About the Job

Sodexo are seeking a suitably qualified Electrician to join our team on our client site in the Surat Basin.

Working in the Surat Basin is a fantastic experience and you would be joining an excellent team who are contributing extensively to the effective day to day operations and providing a consistent service for our customer.

This position is FIFO ex Brisbane or DIDO ex Toowoomba, on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster.  

About You

You will be a qualified Electrician with solid hands on technical skills, developed through trade and experience on sites.  You will display a solid understanding of electrical industry standards which govern your trade and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Your extensive demonstrated experience across reactive and preventative maintenance will be regarded highly by our team onsite.

Your main responsibilities will be to complete maintenance and inspections as per an agreed schedule, assist with the provision of electrical and associated services and duties that contribute to the smooth overall running of the site.   Key duties will include electrical investigations, testing and maintenance, reactive maintenance, structured planned preventative maintenance and maintenance, service and repair of equipment.

Your positive attitude and well versed communication skills will enable you to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure prompt and professional service while dealing with all stakeholders

The position will suit a well organised and self-motivated individual who is able to listen to customer needs and provide expert service and communicate in a friendly manner.  You are someone who is passionate about adhering to high safety standards and you possess a strong knowledge of all associated health and safety standards gained within large commercial industry.
