About the Job

Sodexo is seeking a highly passionate and suitably qualified safety professional for a HSE Advisor role for our onsite team. This position is a FIFO 2:1, hire point is Darwin.

Reporting directly to the Regional HSE Manager and reporting functionally to the on- site Village Manager/Operations Manager, the position will be responsible for supporting our team on site with the day-to-day HSEQ responsibilities including the implementation of Sodexo’s integrated HSEQ management system and improvement plans.

This is a hands-on role requiring the provision of broad HSEQ solutions across this Facility Management contract.

Your duties will include but not be limited to ensuring legal compliance with legislation, Sodexo’s integrated management system and client HSEQ requirements; continuous improvement, daily HSEQ activities including Toolbox talks and pre starts, reporting, investigations and risk assessments; training of staff and providing technical advice.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years’ experience at a similar level, have tertiary qualifications and Certificate IV Workplace T&E. Knowledge of HACCP plans and Food safety standards is essential.

You will have well developed communication skills with demonstrated experience conversing with a large team.

Additionally, you will have safety management systems exposure, auditing and investigation skills and knowledge of OH&S statutory requirements across, Transport, Catering and Cleaning environments.
