This is a rare opportunity to join the Business Development team in our Energy & Resources Segment. Based in Balcatta at our Perth Support Centre this is a full-time position with occasional interstate travel.

About the job

Reporting to the National Business Development Manager of Mining Australia, you will support the BD strategy with a focus on new development, contract retention and organic growth. Whilst working in a small team you will partner closely with the Segment Managers and Director Mining Western Australia, our Service Operations and Transversal teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of results.

You will model true sales and business development behaviours, and a culture, approach and action plan in alignment with agreed group standards. 

You will be required to represent Sodexo at industry and client events to establish relationships and brand presence with strategic target clients.

 

About you

You will bring a solid reputation and established network in the WA Mining industry and have the ability to build strong relationships. You will lead, coach, organise and support a range of colleagues to achieve sales success in different areas of the business. Your previous experience in a similar position within Facility Management and/or Hospitality organisations will be highly regarded.

The position will suit an organised, motivated and driven individual and will see you working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, therefore, your people management skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business is critical to your success in this role. You must be able to demonstrate success in a matrix-style organisation and will be a superior manager of people with experience leading successful teams.
