This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Village Manager to support our site operations across Far North Queensland. Working FIFO from Brisbane on a 20:8 roster, 11 hours per day.

About the job

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will play a vital role in the successful running of village operations. As the Village Manager you will be a skilled communicator with proven people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You will have the ability to build and support teams and be a safety leader with an understanding of Food Safety, HSE and HR legislation.

You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. Bring your passion for safety and people to our team!

About you

You will have experience in a similar role, preferably working within the mining, hospitality or facilities maintenance industries in a senior capacity. A current full WA Manual Driver’s licence is mandatory in order to operate our site vehicles.

In addition to excellent time management and leadership skills, a background working with trades occupations and managing diverse teams will lead to success in this role.
