About the job

Sodexo is seeking a strategic, analytical and business minded Manager to lead our Accommodation and Travel team at the Olympic Dam mine site in South Australia..

As our Accommodation Manager you will be responsible for:

Managing the client preferred accommodation management system

Managing accommodation and administrative services and overseeing a team of up to 15 Accommodation Clerks.

Working closely with the management team and the client to continuously improve accommodation processes.

Optimising booking data to increase accommodation utilisation across both Villages.

Collating and distributing analytical KPI reporting.

Reviewing procedures and processes in line with the accommodation policy, operational requirements and contractual obligations.  Composing business justifications and proposals of an exemplary level.Drafting site wide communications for the Management Team.

Resolving customer complaints and providing timely feedback to guests as required

You MUST have a passion for service excellence and be able to demonstrate a high level of team leadership, communication and computer skills. An overall knowledge of Accommodation and Travel management including experience in a leadership role for a large remote site or similar facility to ensure effective utilisation of mine site camp accommodation is preferred.

About you

To be successful in this ‘hands on’ role you will need the following skills and experience:

Management experience in a fast paced environment.

Travel or Accommodation systems experience – Preferably SAMs, INX Inflight, or similar travel and workforce management systems.

A strong data analysis and system management background.

Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills (both written and verbal) as the key point of contact for our employees, contractors and Client.

A proven history of client interaction and relationship management.

Experience with contracts and a thorough understanding of scope of works.

Financial experience desirable.

Advanced Excel skills are a pre-requisite for this role - Advanced Microsoft suite also essential.

If you are local to Roxby Downs and Olympic Dam area we would love to hear from you, however there is flexibility for this role to be "Drive In / Drive Out" or a FIFO 2:1 Roster
